Stonewall Kickball – D.C.was founded in the fall of 2010 to create a safe space for everyone, with an emphasis on inclusion, community, and philanthropy.Our mission states:“We believe every person should have the ability to feel comfortable being oneself in organized sports. Our league will value each player for who they are and what one brings to the league’s community. We also believe organized communities have the ability and responsibility to support others in need.”We do not tolerate bias or discrimination on the basis of age, race, gender, national origin, religion, physical or mental disability, medical condition, political affiliation, marital status, gender identity, or sexual orientation, and we require the same of our players and sponsors. We strive to educate those who show bias or discriminate in order to eliminate intolerance and strengthen our community.
