Members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives meet annually for a Presidential Prayer Breakfast to which the President, his Cabinet, the Supreme Court, all members of the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives, Government Officials and other leaders are invited.Because of the impact of the Presidential Breakfast throughout America, many of our cities are making it possible for the city leadership to get together to help further the cause of the spiritual awakening in our nation.In our County, it was felt that greater impact could be secured by uniting the many boroughs and towns into one large breakfast each year. It is hoped that mayors and business people in various towns and municipalities will conduct breakfast groups throughout the year.Through the Mayors’ Breakfasts, much can be accomplished to encourage all the people to think more carefully about the heritage which God has bestowed upon this nation.
