Root Refresh by A Marie Plant Co. is a community driven initiative dedicated to reconnecting people with the grounding power of plants and nature. We create uplifting experiences that highlight how caring for plants can bring a significant amount of joy to your everyday life. Through our events and workshops, we help people reconnect - with nature, with their spaces, and with themselves. Whether you are new to plants or already have a thriving indoor jungle, Root Refresh is here to support your growth - one leaf at a time.Learning about different types of plants and their needs have been a source of calm in my life. Studies show that caring for plants and handling soil reduces stress, boosts your mood, increases creativity and increases serotinin levels. I find so much joy in caring for plants, I ended up with over 200 of them in my home. Its a jungle in here and I love it! I have spent years collecting, reviving, un-aliving (LOL) and nurturing various types of houseplants. It is a fulfilling journey of trial and error and you learn something new with every interaction. Plants respond to their enviornments and communicate what they need. For example: Droopy leaves usually mean your plant is thirsty.
