I have an addiction—and it’s movement.It began at the age of 4 when I started swimming at a local community centre in Ottawa. This interest continued to grow when I moved to Grenada, spending time at the beaches and THE local swimming pool. I was, and still am, absolutely in love with the freedom of movement that water provides. At one point, I was simultaneously training for swimming and track. Most of my friends in Grenada are aware of this. However, during my later years of secondary school, my focus shifted to the 100m and 200m sprint. In 2021, I enrolled in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Gracie Barra and found that sense of "home" again.Honestly, I have always thrived on movement, and I am undeniably in my element when I am on the tatami, in the water, or on the track.For me, movement isn't just a physical necessity; it's a way of life.
