Alberta Women Entrepreneurs (AWE)is a not-for-profit organization that provides a range of tools to help women across Alberta succeed in business. Since 1995, AWE has supported women in business through business advising, business skills development, financing and providing networking opportunities.The AWE client service team offers a variety of free services including:Business Advising:We offer advice for business challenges and growth strategies, as well as marketing and financial issues. We also have a number of tools to assist in the development of a business plan and will assess your plan for financing.Loan Program:We can provide financing of up to $150,000 for new and existing businesses. Our loans are bundled with free, ongoing, professional business advice.Business Skills Development:We offer "real world" skills training, delivering practical results for small business success. Develop the essential skills you need to thrive.Events:We host or sponsor a number of events each year for women who want to start or grow a business. You’ll also see us at a number of tradeshows and business events around the Province.Resource Connections:We connect women to other providers of business services throughout Alberta.
