Alexandra Borghino

Alexandra is a French multidisciplinary creative based in Edinburgh since 2015. With a diverse background in art, music, theatre, and creative writing, she primarily focuses her work on engaging young audiences. Additionally, Alexandra actively participates in various adult creative communities in Edinburgh, where she values the opportunity to connect with others and share her knowledge through teaching.Alexandra is a published author of a bilingual musical book titled "Singing Willows," which she has adapted into a musical show for children, initially presented at the Fringe Festival in August 2024. In addition to her work in musical literature, she composes poetry and songs for audiences of all ages and is currently in the process of writing a sequel to her initial musical show.Originally, Alexandra specialised in illustration, and examples of her previous work can be found in the 2021 edition of the Edinburgh Science Festival, as well as in editorial illustrations for The British Ecological Society. Her passion for wildlife, animals, and nature is a prominent theme throughout her creative endeavours, influencing her compositions, illustrations, and written works.Alexandra enjoys hosting creative events for both adults and children. She is passionate about sharing her interests with others and helping them connect creatively.
