Baby Basics Northampton

Baby Basics Northampton provide moses basket starter packs to Northamptonshire families in vulnerable situations. Each pack provides a safe place for a newborn to sleep, clothing, bedding and essential toiletries for the baby and essential toiletries for the mum-to-be. Referrals are received from NHS professionals and other front-line services across the county.Since 2013 we have provided nearly 3,000 starter packs and see the need increase year on year. In 2023, 1 in 18 babies born in Northamptonshire received a starter pack from us.We rely on the kindess of our community to donate items for the starter packs, raise funds and give their time to volunteer so that we can continue to meet every referral we receive and ensure that every baby born in Northamptonshire has a safe place to sleep.Charity Number: 1168449
