Our Mission Is ToGive,Educate, &MentorBBP GEM, Inc is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that focuses on giving to the community, educating and mentoring youth in the art of film, stage, and music production.What's In A Name? BBP GEMBBP:Because we are associated with Baz Brothers Production.GEM:Because our mission is to Give, Educate & Mentor. But a GEM is defined as a precious stone especially when polished or cut. By mentoring our youth, we aim to polish the GEM within.Our StorySince 2009, BBP has interned youth during film projects, stage plays, music productions and events. While being mentored and educated by valuable members of BBP, the youth who intern with our organization also gain hands on experience in their field of interest. As budget cuts are forcing some school districts to eliminate their Fine Arts programs, BBP feels that it is important that our youth have an opportunity to experience the Arts.In 2016, we began community outreach by partnering with other nonprofits to give away school supplies, Thanksgiving boxes, and Christmas toys. We have been successful in out efforts to give back to the community; however, we now have an increasing desire to expand and give more. As a result of wanting to give more we created BBP GEM, Inc.BBP GEM, Inc has great ambitions. We have helped more than 1500 families in the past three years and each year we strive to give back more than the year before. We hope BBP GEM, Inc will inspire you to partner with our organization as we continue to empower our youth through community outreach and the Arts.
