Black Canadian Hikers

Black Canadian Hikers (BCH)is on a mission to connect those across the African & Black Diaspora in Ontario, Canada (currently the GTA- Greater Toronto Area) to nature through hiking to build community, improve our overall well-being, increase representation, learn about the land we live on, and break down existing stereotypes and barriers, one trail at a time. As a black queer led hiking group, we are not just a group for black people, but aim to fosters a sense of belonging for all black people, this includes LGBTQ+ and this group is also open for other underserved communities to join our hikes as well. This is a space where we welcome you all with open arms, just like nature, it welcomes us all, for we are nature, therefore we are all connected and we are all one.At BCH, we hike all year long throughout all four seasonsWe host monthly hiking events that range from Beginner to Moderate to Difficult to level hikesYou can follow us on instagram and facebook for any updates and to see what the BCH community has been up to in natureOne love
