What is Blueballs IrelandBlueballs Ireland is a community of men who want to support other men. We are a voluntary group that was established in November 2022. Since our first swim on a dark, cold wet November we have massively grown in numbers and have gone from strength to strength. We have branched out from weekly swims, to organising mens circles, guest speakers and hikes. We believe that, now more than ever, there are a lot of men out there who are silently struggling, be it from past life traumas, divorce, supporting partners through fertility journeys, loneliness, recovery and a general feeling of disconnection and lack of purpose.When we set up this group we wanted to create a space where men can feel supported as part of a community and realise that everyone has their own struggles and they are not alone. We strongly believe in the power of offering a safe space where men can feel truly heard through active listening and can share without judgement. We only ask that any men that come along to one of our meet-ups/swims leave their ego at the door, be open to sharing/listening to other men within the group and do not divulge what is said to anybody else.We do not care about your sexuality, job, body shape , background, etc… We only care about YOU as a person. Remember when you show up for yourself it also benefits those around you so don’t see making time for things like this as a ‘selfish’ act.
