Bal Matharu - Advanced Respiratory Physiotherapist and Breathwork Practitioner20+ years in the NHS as a Respiratory Specialist Physiotherapist. I completed additional training in Root Cause and Lifestyle Medicine to help clients identify the underlying cause of the symptoms and the dis-ease in their body and use the power of Breathwork to move energy and allow the body's nervous system to come back online to allow the body to heal. Following this I can help clients to delve deeper into enabling the body to thrive with the foundations of Lifestyle Medicine, (Diet and Nutrition, Exercise and Movement, Sleep Management, Stress Management and Relationships) enabling clients to achieve their best health.I am a PhD student writing a thesis on whether a 90 day Breathwork practice can have an impact on reducing Chronic Physical Disease Markers and Improve Health Related Quality of Life in a group of patients diagnosed with a acquired systemic inflammatory disease.
