About

Cambridge Global Health Partnerships is a charitable organisation based on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. We facilitate safe, ethical, and effective health partnerships between hospitals and health professionals in Cambridge and the East of England, and governments and healthcare institutions in low and middle income countries.Our work aims to strengthen healthcare systems and address some of the major health challenges of our time by sharing knowledge, skills, resources, and experiences.This is a two-way process involving NHS staff, students, and academics at all levels to collaborate with partners and colleagues in other countries. Through a hybrid partnership model (working in-person and remotely), our members and partners co-develop and co-deliver reciprocal training, teaching, audit and review to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.Our work contributes directly to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 – Ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.
