Carla Vido

Carla Vido is a Latina Yoga teacher based in the Bay Area, California. She found her roots in Yoga seven years ago. “I used to practice Yoga before, but it was very physical and inconsistent." Meditation entered her life after a traumatic episode, and her teacher suggested breathwork and meditation. "By the time I was diving more into Yoga, I decided to gift myself a Yoga Teacher Training as a birthday gift to deepen my personal practice, and here I am."With eight years of practice and four years of teaching, Carla strongly believes in Yoga as tool for resilience and self-study on and off the mat. Her eagerness to learn and share this passion with students added more hours for her continuing education, adding E-RYT® 200, RYT 500, and YACEP® to her qualifications and over 1500 hours of teaching.Her teachings are based on the Tantric branch of Yoga, offering a supported and welcoming Vinyasa Yoga Flow for all levels. Off the mat, Carla spends time out and about in Nature, grounding in the mountains of Shasta, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite, Santa Cruz or wherever the wind blows. Besides Yoga, she also shares a passion for climbing, mountaineering, hiking or Nature in general.
