I'm passionate about nurturing life in all forms. I am happiest tending to my permaculture garden in Catalina, Arizona. I employ regenerative farming methods which includes nurturing my chickens who turn kitchen and yard scraps into fertilizer (and delicious eggs!). I also find joy in nourishing the humans around me with homemade food—from baked goods and home-brewed ginger ale to pickled vegetables.As a retired high school biology teacher, I love to present the fascinating science behind the art of cooking.
