The Centre for Family Literacy was Canada’s first organization dedicated to building literacy within the family context. Our vision is a world where everyone can thrive, and our mission is to empower people, strengthen communities, and transform lives through literacy.Celebrating25 years in 2025, we’ve been helping families and communities grow through:Literacy programs for families and adults in the Edmonton area.Training for literacy professionals across Alberta and Canada.Resources and support for family literacy professionals.Raising awareness about the power of literacy.Researching and improving literacy programs.Exploring new ways to make learning accessible.We’re proud to be a leader in literacy, ensuring people of all ages can learn and succeed.
