Chen, the founder of Unique Unicorn Kid’s Yoga, has been practicing yoga for many years and holds certified qualifications in both adult and children’s yoga. Her deep understanding of yoga, combined with her nurturing approach, has made her a trusted and respected instructor in the community.All yoga teachers at Unique Unicorn are fully qualified and bring extensive experience to their classes. Chen currently teaches at several primary schools, including Haileybury Primary, Valkstone Primary, Our Lady of Lourdes, as well as a number of childcare centres. Her teaching style is calm, engaging, and inclusive, allowing each child to feel confident and supported.Before becoming a yoga instructor, Chen worked as a social worker with a focus on children’s wellbeing. This background has given her valuable insights into child development and behaviour, which she brings into her teaching with patience, empathy, and a gentle yet enthusiastic energy.As a devoted mother herself, Chen lives and breathes the values she shares through yoga. Her classes are thoughtfully designed to foster mindfulness, confidence, and joy in children, while also encouraging a sense of purpose and connection. At Unique Unicorn Kid’s Yoga, Chen’s goal is to create a safe and uplifting space where every child can shine.
