My name is Dan Motoc. I am a Personal Transformation Facilitator, a guide in journeys of expanded states of Consciousness and a mentor for those in a psycho-spiritual transformation. My passion is working with the deepest contents of the human psyche and bringing them to awareness for ontological, therapeutic and inner transformation purposes.I am the founder of Shamanica Institute and since 2016 I am hosting the Entheogens Sharing & Integration Circle - Support Group meetings in Montreal. My approach is Psychoshamanic, a synthesis of useful concepts in psychology and practice of shamanism. I have a Transpersonal, Jungian orientation and I have extensive experience working with entheogens. I have experience guiding people through spiritual emergencies, and experience supporting and empowering individuals to use these medicines safely and skillfully for healing and transformation.After a psychedelic experience, some find it challenging to return to life as they knew it. Like a dream, the visions, thoughts or feelings that come up in a non-ordinary state of consciousness are not always easy to understand and may unfold over time. For some, the experience is magical and healing and yet others may leave the experience confused and unsure how to make sense of it. This process of taking information from the experience, making sense of it and integrating it into one’s daily life is the purpose of Integration. I believe that not just ‘set and setting’ determine a beneficial psychedelic experience, but ‘set, setting and support’.
