Downs Syndrome North Yorkshire Support Group

The DSNY support group is a collection of volunteers all with personal experience of Down's syndrome who have come together to pass on as much information, help and support as possible in order to enjoy the wonderful experience that raising a Down's Syndrome family member can be.We are also avid fundraisers and stage events exclusively for our members, their families and carers, like our annul trip to Flamingoland which in 2022 will be in its tenth year.We plan in the future to provide other outings including Christmas parties, trips to the pantomime, ten pin bowling, a karaoke night and whatever weird and wonderful ideas that we can organise with the help of sponsors and our members and their carers.Our aim is to bring together the people of North Yorkshire and maybe other adjoining areas, share our experiences, knowledge and ideas to help ensure we get the best for all of our Down's Syndrome family members.Please join our Facebook group in order that we can come together with ideas on how to get the most pleasure from our commonality, let's share photographs, stories, achievements and the true pleasure and pride that our family members bring into our lives.Our Charity number is 1185176
