Welcome to the Faculty of Health SciencesOur Faculty incorporates the Schools of Dental Science, Medicine, Nursing & Midwifery, and Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Science. At the core of our activities in Health Sciences is the understanding that all of our activities begin with and centre on our patients. We believe that being part of an interprofessional community of service-oriented scholars aspiring to change lives through education, research, healing, and care is key to success.We work closely with our clinical partners to provide programmes that are grounded in clinical expertise and cutting-edge research, to best prepare students to meet the challenges of a changing healthcare environment.At postgraduate level our programmes offer flexible and innovative learning technologies to meet the needs of working practitioners.Our Research strives to improve healthcare, bringing tangible benefits to health and healthcare regionally, nationally and internationally.It is our mission to teach with creativity dedication and innovation, to heal with quality and compassion, and to inspire discovery and innovation with curiosity, integrity and resolve.As a community we are driven by a sense of shared mission to both pursue knowledge and translate it into meaningful solutions that improve the lives of people around the world.
