About

We are a group of adults that formed a committee to keep Fensong going after the founder Cate decided to step back. We offer a safe place for children and young adults who have complex needs explore performing arts. We have lots of fun doing many different things including drama, physical theatre, poetry, singing, dance, prop making, lots of different drama themed games where we can help with building confidence among other things. We even do British Sign Language through songs in some of our performances!We are based in The Methodist Church in Downham Market on Tuesdays 5.30-7pm and Saturdays 10-12pm.Rev Paul invites us often to take part and perform during his family services on Sunday mornings so we can be seen several times a year there too!The leaders have either worked with complex needs children or they have complex need children/family themselves. Each leader is DBS checked, several of us have Safeguarding Certificates because we want everyone to feel safe at all times. Between us we have many courses under our belts in Autism, BSL, Art Therapy to name a few.
