Foster Care Advocacy Center

The mission of Foster Care Advocacy Center is to provide holistic advocacy inside and outside the courtroom for children and parents involved in the child welfare system. Foster Care Advocacy Center (FCAC) is the only nonprofit law office in Texas that employs a multidisciplinary model of representation where staff, social workers, and staff attorneys work together to provide holistic legal representation for children and parents. In the last year, FCAC represented over 200 parent and child clients. While the attorneys focus on legal issues, the social services team works to assess placements, help individuals connect with community-based services, and facilitate family connections.
