Hi, I’m Alisha – I’m 22 and from Bristol. I created this event because I know how difficult it can be to meet new people in year early 20s. Essecially when you’re not following the typical routes. I didn’t go to university, I rarely go clubbing, and I don’t often find myself at big social events. Because of that, I’ve often felt quite isolated — like everyone else is out there making friends and memories, while I’ve been left wondering where I fit in.This event is something I’ve genuinely needed myself: a welcoming space for girls across Bristol to connect, have a laugh, and just be themselves. No pressure, no judgement — just good vibes and the chance to meet others who might be feeling exactly the same.I truly believe there are so many girls out there who feel this way — wanting connection but not knowing where to start. So instead of waiting for something like this to come along, I decided to create it. This is for every girl who’s ever felt a bit out of place, a bit overlooked, or just unsure where to meet people outside the usual nightlife or uni scene.Whether you’re outgoing, shy, completely new to Bristol or have lived here your whole life — you’re welcome.
