Giving Purpose Organization

Cathy Caplener is the founder of the non-profit,Giving Purpose Organization. She launched her first non-profit flagship campaign, YOU ARE ENOUGH, in July of 2020, in an effort to help people feel worthy and seen via these three supportive words. She is sharing these words on billboards, merchandise, and via events. As someone who has faced depression and anxiety on and off throughout her life, Cathy understands how we all can go into that dark place and feel isolated and not supported. Therefore, she thought that there must be a way to help people know that someone may also be dealing with their own darkness and that they are not alone. This is where the billboard idea came up. She started aGoFundMe Campaignto raise funds to launch billboards with the words YOU ARE ENOUGH on them with the goal of getting a billboard up in every state in the US. 15 billboards later, the campaign has become a movement in the South Bay of Los Angeles. She calls this a #Unite2Heal movement. When you see a billboard or merchandise you realize that you are not the only one who may be feeling low and that yes, there are people out there who care about you, even strangers. Cathy is all about sharing it forward and giving back to others who are in need. YOU ARE ENOUGH is one way to do this and she hopes to evolve the campaign into schools and businesses and work with such groups as LGBTQ, veterans, and seniors, to name a few. We all simply want to be seen and we all can help people feel that they are seen and not alone when it comes time to feeling ENOUGH.
