Guelph Concert Band

For over 140 years, the Guelph Concert Band has been entertaining audiences with its diverse repertoire and high quality performances. The band, with conductor and artistic director Lauren Helmer, has planned an exciting season of concerts sure to delight all music lovers. Our members range from high school students to seniors and come from various backgrounds and lines of work. Our repertoire ranges from film and musical scores, jazz, classical and modern concert band music. We perform three ticketed concerts a year as well as three outdoor summer concerts at Royal City Park, with all proceeds going toward the continual operation of our ensemble, such as purchasing new music and paying for our rental space. We rehearse Sunday evenings from 7-9 PM at the University of Guelph.
