About

Guitar Build Workshop offers a recreational approach to the craftsmanship of guitar building.  Participants will build an electric guitar in 8 hours, and take home their guitar that day. Starting with a custom body designed for this workshop, students will learn the techniques to complete a finished guitar. Steps include, demonstration on how the body is made, sanding, finishing, neck construction, fret leveling/polishing, installing hardware/neck/strings, final set-up and jam session.Guitar Build Workshop was started by several members of guitar manufacturing industry who wanted to share their talents with individuals who are interested in guitar building, but without the commitment or expense of a formal training program. Staff members have over 75 years combined experience manufacturing guitars.
