From hands-on workshops and public talks to art–science collaborations and citizen science projects, the initiative helps connect people with the science that shapes our lives.One of its flagship programs isNational Science Week, held every August, which showcases the diversity of STEM through hundreds of events across Queensland – from urban centres to remote outback towns. Inspiring Australia Queensland also deliversTargeted Science Communicationactivities year-round, focusing on priority audiences and regions. These include tailored events for regional and Indigenous communities, school outreach, and support for local science champions.
