With facilities in California's desert cultural oasis called Joshua Tree, for over a half century theJoshua Tree Cultural Center (formerly Hi-Desert Cultural Center) has served as the regional performing and visual arts center for the gateway communities of Joshua Tree National Park. The Cultural Center operates its own performance venues and produces live theater, concerts, art exhibitions, festivals, the Joshua Tree Philharmonic symphony orchestra, an extensive educational arts and technology program for youth and adults, a Film Institute, a dance conservatory, an art gallery, and more.
