Kat is an Impact Strategist & Business Coach for Social Entrepreneurs.Passionate about supporting people to access the knowledge and skills they need to achieve their goals, and committed to developing the social enterprise sector, Kat offers insights from her 13+ years of professional experience in her business, Share Impact.Frustrated that social enterprises are still reliant on grants for their income, struggling to secure trading income and not investing in marketing, Kat has applied her experience of building a social enterprise from scratch to develop a unique approach for social entrepreneurs to measure social impact and communicate it in a way that will attract paying customers consistently.Kat has been a social entrepreneur since 2012, when she took over as co-Director of Solutions for the Planet with her best friend Jen Baughan (now CEO). Prior to this she led Interfaith Action a voluntary organisation bringing young people from different religious and cultural backgrounds together through social action projects in London (2007-2009). She then led a national interfaith leadership programme across colleges and universities, in the UK, for the National Union of Students (2009-2012).She is also on the board of Working With CIC (since 2016); the Chair of FTWW (since 2017) and was previosuly a Non-Executive Director of Careers Wales (2015-2018).
