I’m the organiser behind Bluebirds and Harley Bar, a small, family-run business that has been hosting events for over 12 years. Over that time, I’ve organised and hosted hundreds of events, and I can honestly say this isn’t just my job, it’s my life.Recently, I’ve opened Harley Bar, a brand-new, modern space designed especially for smaller, more intimate events, alongside the much-loved Bluebirds venue. I host a wide variety of events, from live entertainment, shows and themed nights, right through to family celebrations and children’s parties, something for all ages.I do everything myself, from the very first spark of an idea through to organising the acts, creating the tickets, and hosting the event on the night. I work with a wide range of fantastic contacts and performers, bringing in different acts all the time to keep things fresh, fun and exciting.What matters most to me is creating memories and being part of that experience. I love seeing people enjoying themselves, letting their hair down, and forgetting about the outside world for a few hours. Because I’m not a big chain or company, every event is personal, welcoming and hands-on. I want people to feel at home, like it’s a home away from home and to know they’re in a safe, inclusive space where everyone is welcome.I’m passionate about keeping events affordable too. Going out has become so expensive, and I believe everyone deserves the chance to enjoy great nights out, shows and experiences without it costing the earth.Everything I do comes from genuine love for what I create. You simply couldn’t do this job without loving it and I put my heart into every single event.
