Komputer Kids, Inc.

Komputer Kids, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. It has hosted an annual Computer Camp for over 40 years. The Computer Camp is the legacy of the former Arizona Council of Black Engineers and Scientists organization. It was started by this group of dedicated engineers, architects, educators, and others to encourage, inform, and educate young people to learn about engineering and science. Over the years, hundreds of high school and some middle school students have spent the month of July honing their critical thinking skills through learning a computer programming language. Many of those students have gone on to pursue their education in engineering, computer science, and other sciences.
