Dr. Lorrilee McGregoris an Anishinaabe from Whitefish River First Nation. She is an Associate Professor at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine where she teaches about Indigenous peoples’ health. She works with First Nation communities and Indigenous organizations in northern Ontario on research and evaluation projects. For the past 23 years, Lorrilee has served as the Chair of the Manitoulin Anishinaabek Research Review Committee, a community-based Research Ethics Board that has reviewed over 100 research ethics applications.
