Maun Refuge provides a friendly face and helping hand to all refugees and asylum seekers in Mansfield and surrounding areas.We provide tailored practical and emotional support to individuals to address their various and diverse needs as they strive to gain legal status and settle in an unfamiliar place.Working from a place of compassion, understanding and hope, we offer a place for refugees and asylum seekers to feel at home and find a new kind of family.We strive to bring out the best in all of us, by tackling negative stereotypes, addressing misinformation, and bringing people together to celebrate different cultures and all the wonderful things that refugees and asylum seekers bring. We seek to build a community where everyone feels recognised and welcome, and, safely settled in their new home, as every opportunity for a fresh start.
