Michigan Council of the IMA

The Michigan Regional Council of IMA is one of many councils nationwide, consisting of 7 chapters (6 in Michigan and 1 in Northern Indiana).Our council provides leadership for and facilitates partnerships with our chapters by:Providing and supporting Statewide Continuing Education programsOffering a full-day of seminars at an Annual Fall Conference at fun and convenient venues in MichiganPromoting local, regional and national continuing educational programsConducting Chapter Leadership Training Programs for their volunteer boards of directorsHolding quarterly Council meetings with delegates from each chapterProviding assistance and guidance to ChaptersRepresenting regional chapters in the National IMA organizationEncouraging the promotion of professional certification via IMA's Certification in Management Accountant (CMA)Supporting the creation of IMA Student ChaptersPublicizing our programs through our website and newsletter
