Middle Musquodoboit Agricultural Society

The Middle Musquodoboit Agricultural Society has been around since the early 1800s as a volunteer society dedicated to celebrating and supporting agriculturalists; stewards of the land and livestock, and community-oriented rural living. The Halifax County Exhibition is the Society premier annual event, but throughout the year the grounds comes alive with other draft horse workshops (free - hosted by the Percheron Association), light horse competitions (check out the Fun Show in July), community picnics, truck and tractor pulls, the Lions Club antique car rally, workshops in traditional skills, and more.
