About The Co-FounderWelcome to Motherless Daughters Retreat, a nurturing community founded by Dana and Alison, two women united by their shared experiences of losing their mothers. Their paths crossed during the challenging times of their mothers’ illnesses and eventual passing. Supporting each other through their grief, they recognized the profound need for a dedicated space where women who have lost their mothers can find understanding and companionship. In 2023, they established Motherless Daughters Retreat to fulfill this mission.Since its inception, the retreat has experienced remarkable growth, expanding its reach and impact each year. Every June, Dana and Alison host a transformative retreat that offers grief support and a variety of activities designed to foster healing and connection among participants. These gatherings provide a safe and supportive environment for women to share their stories, find comfort, and build lasting bonds with others who truly understand their journey.At Motherless Daughters Retreat, we believe in the power of community and shared experiences to heal the wounds of mother loss.
