Mountain Grannies

Mountain Grannies is a Bow Valley organization of Grandmothers and "Grand-others" (you do not need to be an actual grandmother) whose purpose is to raise funds for the Stephen Lewis Foundation's Grandmothers-to-Grandmothers initiative. This program was established to assist grandmothers in various African countries whose children have died of AIDS, leaving orphaned grandchildren for the grandmothers to care for.Mountain Grannies holds two major fundraising events yearly - our very popular Chili-in-a-Bowl dinner in the spring and a second event at another time.
