We are Newport Borough Brass Band. We are a competitive band of progressive & enthusiastic players under the musical leadership of Robin Hackett.We pride ourselves on offering a wide range of music, boasting an extensive repertoire to suit a variety of audiences. We seamlessly weave together a programme that includes swing, big band, jazz, film, musicals, pop music, classical transcription as well as traditional brass band selections.Our band is totally committed to life-long learning, offering a playing space for all ages with a strong ethos of community in all that we do.
