Project Phoenix is an ethos.The Phoenix voluntarily steps into the fire to leverage the flames as the alchemical energy for change. It recognises its current form cannot sustain the life to come. Once it flies west to its nest, it settles then sings to the Sun God of the East. The beauty of that song calls the Sun God across the Horizon and the heat of the rays set the bird aflame.
