Ron Wilch the designer has been recognized by Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly 2017 as the Best tailor and designer.His entrepreneurial vision for the city, and ambition to unify the industry, led him to produce numerous fashion trade shows, from 1992 through 2005. This commitment to the apparel industry and to revitalizing the manufacturing sector led to his recognition as the ‘FASHION CZAR of Philadelphia’, by former Mayor of Philadelphia, Ed Rendell. Ron has received numerous citations for his diligent and enthusiastic efforts to develop growth of the apparel design and manufacturing industries, and has traveled to numerous countries in search of partnerships in product manufacturing.
