There are more people like me out there—fun, interesting, alive—and we’re being totally ignored.The lack of places for people 50+ to meet? Shocking. Like, we’re not dead yet! So I thought: WTH, I’m going to create something myself.It had to be something I would actually want to go to—something that felt a little like a cocktail party, with a relaxed vibe, room to mingle, and for good measure, a dash of speed dating. Because let’s be honest—it’s impossible to talk to everyone at a big event, and this way, everyone gets a chance.And it couldn’t just be any place—I wanted a space with a little vibe. Not too loud, not too sterile, and definitely not a sports bar. Just somewhere that felt good to be in—stylish, comfortable, and the kind of spot where people would actually want to hang out and connect.And just like that, Shaken Not Stirred Socials was born.
