Hello, loves! I'm Shawnay. Movement has always held a special place in my heart. It has been a major part of my lifestyle since my youth, beginning with dance and more recently, yoga. After nine years of personal yoga practice, I've begun the journey of sharing my love for yoga with others as an instructor.Yoga has been and continues to be a guiding light for me throughout life both in times of celebration as well as the more challenging moments. Yoga has served as a huge assist for me throughout my journey of nurturing my body, mind, and spirit to a place of balance and vitality when I've needed it most. I am honored and elated to cultivate spaces where we can practice the principles of yoga in on to one and small group settings.My passion lies in the fluidity of Vinyasa and the deep release of Yin yoga. In my classes, you can expect a focus on these styles, sprinkled with elements of pranayama (breathing exercises) and, on occasion or request, the soothing vibrations of sound healing through singing bowls.Thank you so much for choosing me to facilitate your practice.
