About

Sheila Forsey is an accomplished writer, playwright, and creative facilitator with a strong background in literature, theatre, and arts education. Represented by the Kate Nash Literary Agency in London, she is the author of four traditionally published novels—three historical fiction and one contemporary. She has qualifications from Maynooth University and Trinity College Dublin.Her passion for storytelling extends beyond novels into playwriting. In 2024, her first full-length play premiered at the Eugene O’Neill Festival in New RossDedicated to fostering creativity in others, Sheila is an experienced facilitator and educator. She is a Heritage Specialist with The Heritage Council and is a Writer in Schools with Poetry Ireland.With extensive experience in creative leadership, public speaking, and event management, Sheila continues to inspire through her storytelling, theatre, and educational initiatives.
