Shelby Faulkner

Toledo native, Shelby ‘Poetess’ Faulkner, is a spoken word artist, speaker, writer, and emcee. She first stepped into the spotlight, back in 2015, during a Bowling Green State University talent show. It was in that pivotal moment that she experienced a move of God, and she ascertained her passion for performing. Since then, she has been led to perform in over 200+ shows and counting. Her love for God and groundbreaking life story has moved audiences throughout Nevada, Georgia, Ohio, and Michigan.With spirit-filled, lyrical prowess, she has won poetry slams throughout the U.S. In 2019, she was even honored as a Poet Of The Year nominee for the Legend Awards show in Cleveland, OH.Poetess is quickly becoming one of the most powerful voices of our generation as she fulfills God's promise of influence over countries, states, and cities. As the world becomes illuminated by her testimony, she hopes to continually transform other people's lives with stories of power, love, faith, and forgiveness.
