About Michelle:She is a Dorchester resident, and a community pioneer with 18+ years of dance & fitness experience. After becoming a mom of twins at 16 years-old, Life as she knew it, had other plans. This became a major deterrent in her dreams of leaving home and experiencing college life. However, amid life's challenges, dance became her anchor and saving grace. Making history as the first American International Dancehall Queen, she began a passion-driven commitment to making a positive impact in the city of Boston through dance. With a focus on emotional well-being through movement, and as the founder of SoulFire Movement, Michelle aims to uplift, motivate, and energize groups, individuals, and organizations interested in using dance to connect with themselves and others.
