Sunshine Enterprises

Our mission is to empower high-potential entrepreneurs living in under-resourced neighborhoods, to grow their business and transform their communities. Our vision is to create neighborhood and sector-based business hubs in Chicagoland’s under-resourced neighborhoods. We currently run three strategically-placed, geographic business hubs and three sector-specific hubs providing economic stimulus to communities by supporting local entrepreneurs.Since 2013, we have served over 1,400 unique entrepreneurs throughout Chicagoland. Our signature, intensive 12-week Community Business Academy (CBA) teaches effective business management. Unlike other programs that stop once classroom training is completed, Sunshine is committed to supporting entrepreneurs through the life of their business via our Business Acceleration Services program. Programs include individual coaching, workshops, events, and access to our signature mentor program, Next Level Exchange (NLE). Sunshine has a vast network of marketplace professionals and successful business owners that function as industry experts able to provide advice and opportunity through leveraging social capital. At Sunshine we connect our clients with access to social, knowledge and financial capital. We work with banks and institutions to inform and assist entrepreneurs with getting access to capital.
