Teaċ Daṁsa is a dance and theatre company, established in 2016 by Michael Keegan-Dolan from the ashes of Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre, a multi-award-winning company that was based in the Irish Midlands. The company is now situated in a newly refurbished and restored factory beside the Atlantic Ocean and beneath Mount Brandon, on the Corca Dhuibhne Peninsula in the heart of the West Kerry Gaeltacht.Teaċ Daṁsa is a refuge - a sanctuary for dancers and artists seeking a place that allows for conversations and creativity to flourish and where integrity and truth are valued. A space where acts of imagination can unfold naturally from each person’s individual perspectives and history. From the Mullahoran GAA Centre in County Cavan to the Théâtre de la Ville in Paris, Teaċ Daṁsa’s work has confronted and inspired audiences for more than twenty years.
