Tejano Music Alliance of Texas

The Tejano Music Alliance of Texas is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote Tejano and other Latin music with its rich culture. As part of its mission, TMAT hosts live music and social dancing events that feature well-known Grammy nominee bands and artists as well as new up-and-coming Tejano and Latin groups in an effort to keep the Tejano and Latin music genre alive. TMAT, receives support from the City of Austin Economic Development Department, Cultural Arts Program and all funds are applied toward several initiatives designed to support the Hispanic and Latin culture in the Austin and surrounding areas. All events are public friendly celebrations commemorating the Heritage and Cultural Arts of the Hispanic Communities. Learn more about TMAT and join us at our events.
