Situated in friendly Uralla, New South Wales, in the historical ‘Trikett’s’ building, is where you’ll find our bustling flagship cafe. Here at The Alternate Root we are known for the love, care and attention to detail that is put into our food and coffee and our regulars have come to expect the efficient and friendly service that our wonderful team offers. We would love all our customers to feel like they have entered our home, to feel comfortable and to be able to relax, unwind and let us take care of them for a while.As a business, we value the importance of community and supporting local - whether it be our commitment to sourcing local ingredients where possible, supporting local musicians, artists and artisan suppliers, or being part of a wider community effort to help protect our environment through applying sustainable practices in house.Friday and Saturday night dinners have proven to be very popular and locals have also come to look forward to public, evening events such as trivia, theme nights, live music and open mic nights.
