The Box

Launched in 2015, The Box quickly gained a respected reputation at Sydney’s Star City Casino by creating a regular residence to familiar infectious rhythms and creating an entertaining aura for our guests, who quickly became a part of our growing family.Over the last five years, we have consistently delivered memorable Friday nights out by curating performances from international superstars in Afrobeat's, RnB, Dancehall, Reggae and Hip hop. Our repertoire includes live performances, to a crowd of up to 400 guests, by Nigerian actor and comedian Mr. Ibu AKA John Okafor, Kenyan Artist Eric Omondi, Miami based artist Kevin Lyttle, Congolese artist Awilo Longomba and Nigerian R&B Duo, Bracket, to name a few.Our goal is to create a Friday night atmosphere that celebrates the end of the traditional workweek and serves as an opener to the weekend nightlife scene.
