My husband and I have 3 adult children, 1 daughter in law, 1 son in law and 1 child still in elementary school. We also have one bully dog and a cat who thinks he is a dog. We recently moved to the outskirts of Klamath Falls, Oregon after living in Siskiyou County, California for most of our lives. Prior to moving to Klamath Falls I was active in our local elementary school. For seven years I was a school board trustee. That was one of my most fulfilling roles as a community member and mother. I was also known to coach, chaperone and volunteer for fundraisers at the elementary and high school levels. What to do in a new town? I wanted to do something fun and on my own terms, building my own days and hours. I want to be available for our son whenever he is not in school and goof off with my hubby in light of his completely unpredictable hours. The Painted Heart was born. I can create and schedule paint socials when it is convenient for my family.
